Who is Joe Jefferson? I designed this site to show, rather than tell, who I am. Everything here relates in some meaningful way to who I am. You will learn more about me by browsing these pages than I could possibly communicate in any simple biography. There are, however, a few things you won't learn elsewhere. Things such as: I am 34 years old, and I have lived most of my life in Southern California. I have been a short term missionary in Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, and Paraguay, and one of my dreams is to go back to South America as a missionary full time. I am also a writer, and a great deal about myself is revealed in my work, although not all of it is obvious. In art, as in life, much that is true does not reveal itself to the overly hasty; that which can be seen and apprehended at a glance is often merely an illusion.
